1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the mobile game PuzzleMe - Jigsaw Puzzle ("PuzzleMe" or "the Game"), developed and published by CTN Devs, an independent developer based in Romania ("I", "me").

By downloading, installing, or using the Game, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Game.

The Game is intended for a general audience.

2. License to Use the Game

The Game is licensed, not sold. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Game on your devices for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.

You may not:

• copy, redistribute, or modify the Game
• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game, except where the law expressly allows it
• attempt to extract game assets or source code
• use the Game for commercial purposes without permission
• interfere with the Game's ads, services, or security features

All rights not expressly granted remain the property of CTN Devs.

3. Intellectual Property

All content within the Game, including images, graphics, puzzle artwork, sound effects, icons, interface design, and gameplay mechanics, is owned by or licensed to CTN Devs and protected by intellectual property laws.

4. Puzzle Images and Visual Content

Most puzzle images in the Game are digitally generated for artistic and entertainment purposes. Image categories may include animals, birds, flowers, landscapes, buildings, landmarks, colors, fantasy, objects, food, toys, and more.

Because these images are generated content, they may contain visual artifacts, distortions, inaccuracies, or stylized elements. Some images may depict landmarks, buildings, vehicles, aircraft, animals, or other objects. The Game does not intentionally reproduce or represent specific branded products, manufacturers, or protected designs. Any resemblance to real vehicles, aircraft, buildings, brands, or other real-world entities is unintentional or coincidental.

Some puzzles may feature photographs by independent photographers, who are credited in the Game. These photographs remain the property of their authors and may not be copied or reused outside the Game.

Images in the Game are not intended to promote violence, discrimination, alcohol consumption, tobacco use, or other harmful behavior.

5. Advertisements

The Game is free to play and supported by advertisements provided by Google AdMob. The Game displays:

• a banner advertisement during gameplay
• a full-screen advertisement when you tap the hint button after the free hints for a puzzle have been used
• an optional full-screen rewarded advertisement, which you may choose to watch to double your puzzle reward

How advertising data is handled, including how to manage your consent for personalized ads, is explained in the Privacy Policy.

6. Game Progress, Cloud Sync, and Leaderboard

You may customize your player profile with a player name and an avatar image selected from your device. Your progress, statistics, and settings are stored locally on your device.

You may optionally turn on Cloud Sync, which saves your data to your Google Play Games account using Google Play Games services. You can turn it off, sync manually, restore your data, and delete your cloud data at any time from the Game's settings. With Cloud Sync, progress from different devices is combined (completed puzzles are kept from all devices and the highest statistics are kept).

Only one puzzle in progress is saved at a time; starting a new puzzle replaces it after you confirm.

When you are signed in to Google Play Games, your total rewards collected are submitted to the "Top Puzzlers" leaderboard after each completed puzzle, where other players can see your score and Google Play Games profile.

7. Custom Puzzles

You may create puzzles from images stored on your own device. These images remain on your device and are not uploaded. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use the images you choose.

8. Downloaded Game Content

The Game downloads puzzle images from Google Firebase Storage in order to display game content. Images may be cached on your device to improve loading performance. An internet connection may be needed to download new content.

9. Availability, Bugs, and Technical Issues

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". I work to keep it running smoothly, but I cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and features or content may change over time.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CTN Devs is not liable for loss of game progress, saved data, or rewards resulting from technical issues, or for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Game. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Third-Party Services

The Game relies on services including:

• Google Play Games services (Cloud Sync and leaderboards)
• Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Storage, App Check, Analytics, and Crashlytics)
• Google AdMob and the Google User Messaging Platform

These services are operated by Google and are subject to Google's own terms and policies.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Game is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains what data is processed and why.

12. Changes

I may update the Game and these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when the Terms were last changed. Continuing to use the Game after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
